Marlborough appointed to deliver Rainham junction improvement scheme

In Summer 2026, Marlborough was selected by Medway Council to deliver the A2 High Street and Mierscourt Road, Rainham junction improvement scheme.

From carriageway planing and resurfacing to drainage, ducting, footway enhancements and more, the final scheme aims to increase junction capacity, improve traffic flow and reduce journey times in Rainham town centre.

Delivering one of London’s largest low-carbon asphalt schemes

We delivered one of the capital’s largest low carbon resurfacing schemes to date for Barnet Council.

By combining a lower carbon asphalt mix with planned changes to transport and plant, we were able to cut the carbon footprint associated with the scheme by 92%.

Upskilling care-experienced young people in Havering

Six care-experienced young people from Havering recently completed a new three-week ‘Introduction to Highways’ programme.

Through a combination of classroom-based learning and practical, hands-on training, this first-of-its-kind Marlborough programme helped attendees develop key skills and experience at work.
